Kinetics Festival
Oxford holds an annual Kinetics Festival where everyone participates in a wacky bicycle obstacle course and other "make" fun. It was awesome seeing all the bikes. We especially liked the pit stop where bikers had to hop off their bikes, put on an Olsen twins mask and carry an egg on a spoon around a giant Bob Saget head!

Berea
We had a great time meeting Grandma Boots in Berea, Ky. The kids blew off some steam before driving the final hour to grandma's house.
Oxford's Egg Hunt
The Saturday before Easter Oxford's youngest residents all meet on one field on a mission to collect candy. what a turn out! There were eggs as far as the eye can see. We decided that it wasn't as much of an egg "hunt" as it was an egg "grab". No children were harmed during the gathering of these eggs... we think.
Cincinnati Zoo
Our first trip to Cincinnati's Zoo with quite the motley crew. It was a lot of fun! Our favorite was the Insect house that had the coolest leaf cutter ant display. A clear plastic tube lined the walls of the entire building inside which leaf cutter ants were busily carrying their leaves back and forth. I had a surreal moment as I watched them wondering who could be watching us scurry about our own busy ways?
